Day 1 of Fashion week started off in a whirlwind. Woke up at 6am to get the baby ready and catch a flight to NYC. Went straight to our hotel from the airport to drop of luggage, admire how beautiful The Evelyn Hotel is, change my outfit and grab a taxi to my first show. Wasn’t that just a big exhausting reading that all? My first show was Lanyu and she had a beautiful collection showcasing whites with a splash of pastels detailing, ready to wear swim for summer with long swing coats overlaying the silhouettes. It has given me the inspiration to play around with my coverups with summer. 
I got back to the hotel and my friend Brittany had picked out the cutest restaurant for us to eat dinner at. If you haven’t been you need to check out While We Were Young. They have five tables and two bar areas, making the restaurant such a delicate and sweet space. They have marble tables and the entire interior of the boutique restaurant is covered in splashes of pink. If you want a fun place to take blogger photos, this is the place in the day time. Also, if you go…you have to drink the One Night Stand, the best cocktail we had in NYC!
