Blogging can be a bit lonely time to time. If you are a blogger you can relate to the endless hours with your face lit up by your phone and computer and sometimes forgetting to look up.

I think there is a real importance of having a support group when you are blogging. It can sometimes be a lonely business and having someone that understands what you are doing is amazing. Blogging is getting more wide spread but still not everyone knows what it is or what it entails. It is great to be able to share ideas or just talk about the joys and struggles come along with social media with someone that is in the same boat.
When I moved from DC back to Myrtle Beach I didn’t know a single blogger here. To my understanding, I was the only one and I started to feel like I lost a big support that I had gained living in a city with a ton of fashion/lifestyle bloggers. I was able to (with the help of social media) find a like minded blogger (@travelinggreenes) in my own town. We are now able to go out for wine and talk about our passion and strategies for growth inside of what our brand is. It really is just a breath of fresh air to be able to freely talk about what I do with someone that understands.
I would encourage everyone to use social media to find like minded bloggers in your area. You never know who you may find and how they may change your perspective on how you are approaching things in your business. At the end of the day it is always great to be able to share what you love and maybe inspire someone along the way!
Thanks for stopping by!
