Goodbye 2016

JACKET | TOP | DENIM | HEELS | WATCH | HANDBAG | SUNGLASSES

I hope you all are having a great relaxing week before 2017 starts.

This year has been one crazy ride and I have enjoyed (almost) all of it. We started off 2016 with welcoming Wesley into the world at 2:18am on the 1st. From that day on it has been a joy to see him grow, develop, get a personality and see how affectionate he has become. Half way through this year we moved from DC to South Carolina. Moving was a big transition due to moving back in with our parents, with a new born/baby and dogs. I can’t say how appreciative I am for the love that has been shown to us from Jonathan’s and my family.

2017, I am excited to see what things you will hold. One thing that is going to be taking up a lot of my time (besides Wesley) will be starting to build our “forever” home. We have finalized our floor plan and now we are on to talking to the bank. Somedays, I think we are crazy for doing a project like this and can’t believe we are lucky enough to build our dream house. Be on the look out for posts about finishings and  updates on the construction process. I may even need a bit of help when fixtures are going to be purchased. I can be indecisive from time to time and always could use a second opinion on what will be big decisions.

Now onto this post! My sister had a great time traveling down to Charleston for some much needed time together. We left the kids at home with the hubbies and took off.

I am starting to take on camouflage, now that I am back in the south. I am not going to lie, this has been a style that I have had a bit of a fear of. If you pair it wrong it can look off and not stylish. I finally got the courage up,  I love how it turned out, now I keep pulling this jacket out of the closet. The best part about this jacket is that it is under $40!

Happy New Years!!!

XOXO…Beth
