Goodbye 2016

I hope you all are having a great relaxing week before 2017 starts.
This year has been one crazy ride and I have enjoyed (almost) all of it. We started off 2016 with welcoming Wesley into the world at 2:18am on the 1st. From that day on it has been a joy to see him grow, develop, get a personality and see how affectionate he has become. Half way through this year we moved from DC to South Carolina. Moving was a big transition due to moving back in with our parents, with a new born/baby and dogs. I can't say how appreciative I am for the love that has been shown to us from Jonathan's and my family.
2017, I am excited to see what things you will hold. One thing that is going to be taking up a lot of my time (besides Wesley) will be starting to build our "forever" home. We have finalized our floor plan and now we are on to talking to the bank. Somedays, I think we are crazy for doing a project like this and can't believe we are lucky enough to build our dream house. Be on the look out for posts about finishings and  updates on the construction process. I may even need a bit of help when fixtures are going to be purchased. I can be indecisive from time to time and always could use a second opinion on what will be big decisions.

Now onto this post! My sister had a great time traveling down to Charleston for some much needed time together. We left the kids at home with the hubbies and took off.
I am starting to take on camouflage, now that I am back in the south. I am not going to lie, this has been a style that I have had a bit of a fear of. If you pair it wrong it can look off and not stylish. I finally got the courage up,  I love how it turned out, now I keep pulling this jacket out of the closet. The best part about this jacket is that it is under $40!

Happy New Years!!!

Happy New Years

TOP | SKIRT (now 60% off) | HEELS | SUNGLASSES (now ONLY $10)  | WATCH

Christmas is now complete, crazy how fast it came and went. Now I am sharing my NYE inspiration. Sequins and glitter are such fun things to pull out of your closet to wear on the big night. This skirt is now 60% off and so cute to be able to wear dressed up or down. You can throw on a turtleneck like I have above, put a fluffy sweater with it or a fun party crop top for the perfect night out look.
I am pretty excited for this New Years Eve!! Last year we had plans but ended up in the hospital getting ready to welcome Wesley into the world. It was a crazy night but can't say that I would't do it all over again to be able to be that sweet boys mom. A little look back, now on to fun plans this year. We will be cheering Clemson on in the playoffs and then hopefully sneaking out after the baby goes to bed! :)

I hope everyone had a very merry Christmas and Happy New YEARS to each of you!

'Tis the season for FAMILY

DRESS | SHOES | BANGLE (now on sale) | WATCH
Family is such a blessing and this time of year it is great to be able to spend as much time together as possible. As many of you know, Jonathan is away for business a lot and we really only see him on the weekends. This month has been such a special one because he has been able to be with us each day and it will stay that way until after the new year. We have taken all of the advantages of having him home and have gotten some much needed family photos. We had such a great time all together! This shoot was a family affair, my sister was our photographer and my dad was there to make sure Wesley gave some cute smiles.
Wesley did give some cute smiles and I was so proud how well he did! Also how cute is his outfit!!! I have shopped many places for his clothes but I always end back at target. They have such adorable pieces that I don't feel bad over shopping, because they are such great prices and since he will out grow everything so fast. We also just got these converse slip ons this week and he hasn't taken them off. I read that if he gets used to wearing shoes and starts to stand in them more, that walking is easier to pick up. We are praying that it is a true statement and we can get him walking by his first birthday (only 2 weeks away)!
I hope everyone is having a great week and getting to spend time with the ones they love!
From the Mishoe family we hope you all have a Merry Christmas!

xoxo...Beth, Jonathan & Wesley

Shopping can be crazy this time of year and finding the perfect things for the perfect people can be tricky. For me, my perfect lady/ladies are my sister and my mom and I love shopping for them and there really is no better gift then seeing their faces when they open their presents. So I have put together some great ideas for whomever is your perfect lady in your life. From a must have faux fur throw from H&M, to a timeless scent with this CHANEL perfume, to my favorite J.crew turtle neck, this list has things from great price points that won't break the bank.
I hope everyone is doing great with their holiday list and having a great holiday season.
xoxo...beth .

Hello Christmas

The holiday spirit is in the air and I couldn't be more in LOVE with this time of year. From the lights, to the wrapping paper, MUSIC, being able to buy gifts for your loved ones and of course the reason for the season.
I have to admit that I have already bought and wrapped most of my presents. My goal is usually to be done shopping by Thanksgiving, I almost got there but I am finishing up a couple of people. I think everyone has those family members/friends who have everything and it's hard to find the perfect gift. I am going to be putting together a gift guide for the 'hard to shop for' friend. This turtle neck will be on it, because this is the perfect staple for any closet and you can't have enough of them. I am just starting to experiment more with layering and I fell in love with this ASOS tank just for that reason. Do you all play around with layering in your everyday wardrobes?
